Madisonville, Covington and Mandeville are great places to live. I moved here from up NOrth (escaped the cold) and I love it. The schools are good, plenty to do and full of sunshine. The towns are beautiful and I'm happy here. It's even worth painful evacuations!

Slidell is great i recently moved away but was the most enjoyable place. They have a population of nearly 30,000 but the Greater Slidell Community has around 90,000 they have a new mall soon to be built with part of UNO and a medical area right next to it
