So many generalizations , so many " people in Baton Rouge are ...., LSU is .... " . In spite of Baton Rouge's diversity , people are lumped together as one entity . Usually based one one persons limited contact with a very few people .

Default Got a question

My wife and i are Creole but havent been back to Louisiana since we were teenagers....her folk from Carencro & mine Cecilia. We were wanting to move back after we graduated from college into a nice Creole community in one of our home towns or adjacent. I've been on the blogs lately and some people say that all the creoles left and went to the big city. i know some of my cousins are still there but most of my family & my wifes came to houston in the 60's and have been here ever since yet we still come back and forth to Louisiana all year. So is what people saying true that almost all the creoles and cajuns have left?

Plenty of Creoles and Cajuns left , but I would guess that they are a little more scattered out . Not as many tight knit communities . Things change .

there a lot in Carencro of Creoles food and music. the town did get bigger from the time of the 1960's. No roster fighting [there is some but no one knows about it.] Plus the backroom card game at one place do not go on. think the building there is gone too. But the old people that live there all they lives is still Creoles
