My husband and I have and injunction against our neighbors and they have one against us. After the injunction was placed on both parties...our neighbors invested in some pole cameras(5 of them). We were served with papers(this Tuesdays) for violation of our injunction. They claim to have footage to prove action that made them feel threated. We were unaware of the cameras. Our attorney viewed the footage. The only thing on the camera is vehicles going up and down the driveway and my children screaming a yelling at each other. All 5 camera are recording every angle of our property. I driveway is on a empty 10 track. Our home is no where in view of the cameras. CAN THEY AUDIO/RECORD OUR PROPERTY WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, RECORD MY CHILDREN (THAT'S WHERE THEY RIDE THEIR 4WHEELERS ) AND ANYONE WHO COMES UP OUR DIVEWAY WITHOUT POSTING SOME SORT OF SURVEILLENCE CAMERA SIGN. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF MY PROPERTY! iI FEEL VIOLATED! WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA

I think your questions would best be answered by your lawyer. If you don't trust your lawyer's advice, check with the Louisiana State Attorney General's office. IMO, your situation is much too serious to make any decision based on advice from members of an online forum.

I agree that it sounds like a violation of your privacy but I also agree with the others as you should talk to your lawyer about it!

You have no legal recourse; the cameras are on their property, picking up light and sound that comes onto their property. A hedge or tall fence is the best solution.
