I was there!

I ended up watching the Brazilian band, the ZImbabwe American (Chiwanoso)
, the New Orleans/Jazz/Hip hop guy Shamarr allen, the Mexican funk band, and to top off hte night, Steel Pulse of course. Was an amazing day. God I love this festival so much. Even better that its in my city.
I ended up buying CDs from Shamarr, Chiwanoso and Gruppo Fantasma.

Thats what I like about it the most..They have 5 different stages all thru downtown..So you have options to watch alot of different acts and really walk around everywhere.. It seems like you can be walking for 3 hours and you still want see everything.. They have to do something about parking though.. I was so fustrated about that

This year, we're parking at Cajun Field and ride the free shuttle. I believe it runs every fifteen minutes.

Wish I could have been there!

There has never been a state with such a passion for just life and the celebration of it.

Missing Louisiana every day
