I'm 28 and want to live in the south. Florida is out b/c jobs are no where and I show Chihuahua's in AKC events and the dog laws in Florida are AWFUL!

I'm not a nighlife person, I like to be home. I grew up on a farm and would love an area that gets no cold or winter-like weather, a small town country feel but close enough to grocery shop, work, etc. Want a safe, friendly community.

Any suggestions on an area of the state to narrow down to?

My advice to you would be to find jobs of your interest/qualifications and find a town based on THAT. Florida is not the only state struggling to keep people employed.
