May 29 and 30 is the tax holiday for buying your emergency hurricane supplies. Just saw this on the local news. Get hand crank flashlights/radios, LED flashlights or LED replacement bulbs for your traditional flashlight to make your batteries last long, batteries, canned food, bottled water, and a case for your important papers like insurance, medical records, etc. Take photos of your home and valuables as well as the serial numbers off items like TV or computers. Keep the photos and serial numbers with your insurance papers.
