I was there last month on vacation, so I passed through briefly. My cousin still runs the Dew Drop Inn, 2 customers, they told me where she was. At the bank. They started explaining the directions, I laughed only one bank baby. My auntie works at that medical Clinic there. I got the keys to her place and stayed in Springhill for 3 days. Plain Dealing is still the same downtown, its almost like a ghost town to me. Have not been there in 7 years. Wow.The family reunion for Harris/Rushing was last month in Shreveport near Haughton, never been and had a great time. Once again if u are related to the Fords, Bradfords,Mc cauley,Taylors, Rushing, Please feel free to contact me. When I went to Houston last month I met a bradford that is related to me. So I met his wife also. They said one day we can meet. So it was last month, my dad stays in Dallas, Auntie in Houston that I stayed with. Nice people. I met them through this site and two other cousins that I have not met yet. One is in CA, the other Washington DC. We have family all over baby, check out ancestry.com, my cousin George is really off into it. He has his own web site. Which I will post later.
