If you have such an issue with good folk of the red states, LEAVE. California awaits you! Drugs, unemployment, violence... all the fruits of giving God the middle finger. Nobody is forcing you to live here.

In the event that you are not aware...Kentucky leads the nation in cancer deaths and deaths of children due to abuse. I guess that being religious does have benefits after all!

Fundamental religion is a sympton not a cause.

Aside from the popular misconception about the constitutionality of separation of church and state, it is wrong to assume that being pro-life always comes from a religious view. It is surprising how frequently religion becomes the assumed basis for logic by those who do not share the same viewpoints before any discussion of reasoning toward a differing opinion has even begun.

Lightbulb License plates and states.

These links should help explain to the OP that amazingly, over 24 states (that's half the nation) offer a plate that says 'right to life' or 'choose life'; it's not just Kentucky.

Va. activists push pro-choice license plates - U.S. news - Life - msnbc.com

Quote from the MSNBC website: The 'choose life' plates donate to pro-life pregnancy centers and adoption agencies in the state that are helping women to choose life.

There are "right to choose" plates and the article states that they don't sell. Less than 400 'right to choose' plates have been sold in Virginia. The first state to offer the 'right to choose' plate was Hawaii *gasp* back in '03.

On the other side of the coin, the 'right to life' plates sell a lot better.
Nationwide, more than 520,000 of the "right to life" plates have been sold since 2000, raising more than $11 million for anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers, adoption services and maternity homes.

Here is an excerpt from Tenn.
http://www.tennesseerighttolife.org/news_center/CLOfficial_Plate.htm

UPDATE – August 15, 2010
Sales continue to increase for the Choose Life specialty plate. Sales for the 7th top selling specialty plate increased 2% from the previous year! Selling 5,150 plates through June 30, 2010 and raising over $80,443 for life affirming agencies in Tennessee in 2010. 27,671 plates have sold since December of 2006 raising over $432,221!

I lived in Virginia for nearly 20 years. I never saw one of those "right to choose" plates. I lived in the most liberal part of Virginia to boot for the last 6 years there.
