PNC has never, ever, ever pushed a product onto me unless I've asked specifically about it (like Virtual Wallet). That's what I really love about them. Wells Fargo, the bank I had in Arizona and Nebraska... I had PNC when I was in PA... they were always calling me on the weekends at like 9:30 AM to offer me a product or wanting me to open a such and such everytime I went into the branch. So beyond annoying.
I worked for Wachovia when it got bought out by Wells Fargo. The second I saw WF coming I changed jobs as quickly as possible. Wells Fargo has oppressive sales goals that they would fire you for when you didn't make them.

I'm not surprised by that at all. They are super, super pushy.

It's interesting that they think they have to do that to stay afloat. Both WF and PNC are two of the most healthy banks in the nation (albeit Wachovia is dragging WF down)... but PNC doesn't feel the need to do those things even with their purchase of National City and potential future purchase of either Regions or Synovus.

Thanks for the posts. It's really nice to hear what everyone thinks and likes/dislikes. I've never been a fan of Wells Fargo and am happy to hear others haven't as well.
