My husband and I are planning to relocate to the Louisville area from Phoenix AZ and we have been trying to find out as much info as we can about neighborhoods. I can find a lot of info with regards to the high end areas, but we can't afford that. We would like to stay in the 250 K range, but desire a decent lot size, perhaps at least .33 of an acre? We want to get all the house we can without going too far over 250 K. What are some neighborhoods we can check out? We don't mind the commute, so any neighborhood suggesting inside or just outside of the city would be most appreciated.

be more specific on type of home you want and where you/husband will work, then we can make recs.

There are literally hundreds of homes in the Louisville Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) that you will have the opportunity to choose from.
I live in a suburban area (15-20minutes to downtown), we live on 1 acre and our home would be priced at $230-270,000.
