Hi, visiting Louisville this weekend for the first time. Can anyone recommend a Japanese-hibachi style (where they cook in front of you at the grill) restaurant?

We're going to be on Newburg Rd

Thank you

Happy Holidays

Just ate at the Shogun on Hurstborne this past weekend and agree that I'm not a big fan either. It was okay, I guess, but they didn't have our reservation down that we'd make a week earlier, seated us a half hour after we were supposed to be in, and the food was only so-so. The rice was a little burnt and the dipping sauces (garlic and some kind of mustard sauce) weren't nearly as good as other places I have been.

I think Sapporo in the Highlands does it best and is also in the most vibrant area.

Mikato is wonderful! Love their sushi and thier hibachi menus...and a nice large restaurant with a very nice feel to it. Also love the friendly people who work there.
