My wife and i are thinking about moving to downtown Louisville this summer and we are leaning toward the worthington apartments on the corner of second st. and jacob st./broadway. Can anyone tell me if this is a relatively safe area? Would it be safe to walk home at night from fourth street live?

Yeah should be ok. I would however recommend staying closer to fourth street live if you like that area. I personally think Kentucky Towers and Barrrington Place are cheaper and better located. Of course there is some much nicer ones but those are the cheaper ones. Check into the Starks building and also the St Francis, and the Henry Clay and Crescent Centre.

Lots of good stuff closer to main street too.

Agree. I think it would be better to be closer to Fourth Street Life or Main Street between the Frazier Museum and the ball park.
