I'm in the market for replacing the mattess/box spring in the master bedroom. I get ads from several different companies, but haven't bought in about 10 years. Anyone have any advice of who to deal with who has good service, good prices. Anyone to avoid? Thanks.

I have a tempurpedic and love it, but if your going the traditional rout i would say bowles mattress. they are a local company and have awesome customer service and good prices. everything they sell is manufactured right here in the ville.

Don't know about the best, but I liked Denver Mattress Co in Clarksville IN. Store locations for Sofa Mart, Oak Express, Bedroom Expressions, Denver Mattress and Furniture Row Outlet stores
Personally I might go with a cheap company, to save markups, if I could test the mattress.

I like "Riney's" which is a locally owned family business here in Louisville and has been in the business since the early 1900's. They have numerous of locations around town. I myself bought a mattress from them to replace like around 7 years ago (I didn't realize it was that long). They were great to deal with and didn't push you into anything. I laid on numerous of mattresses and came back a few times to make sure the decision I was making was a good one. I did check around town, but I liked that it was locally made here, the choices I had, and how they gave me information that other places that sold mattresses didn't.
