I'm trying to get a feel for the in-town housing market in Louisville (ie - Highlands, Crescent Hill, St. Matthews, Seneca Park areas). About how much under asking are renovated/updated houses being sold for? I'm wondering about houses in the $300-450K range.

We have a good website to locate that data in Charlotte, NC but I'm having a hard time determining it for Louisville. We'll probably know within the next 2 weeks if we're moving.

Thanks in advance!

That area is hot...many get exactly what they ask, or maybe 10k less. They won't budge much...they don't have too. There are a lot more urban options in Louisville for families than Charlotte, which is currently mostly suburbanized. The core areas reviving in Charlotte are more young professionals and empty nesters.

also, louisvilleky.gov has super helpful stuff on the site if you play with it, including property values.
