I have a job advancement opportunity in 3 different cities Louisville being one of them just wondering if someone could answer some questions for me.

1.) Louisville is mostly white correct? I see alot of different census data so i'm just wondering for someones first hand experience.
2.) Is Louisville pretty well segregated? I've heard/seen the census data and it seems ( I could be wrong) West is black, East is white, and South is both.
3.) What demographic is the core city during the day? Almost all cities are white in the surrounding areas and majority black in the core city, just wondering what % of demographics I'd see walking around shopping or eating in the core city on any given day.
4.) What is the nightlife like? I mean safe upscale (not luxury exactly, just clean and violence free) nightclubs/lounges/ things to do. I don't need it to be like New Orleans but I would like to be able to go out any night I decide too.

Thanks.
p.s. Any race related rants/insults will not be responded too and I don't particularly care how you feel about racism/realism, I'm making this thread because I don't have enough money to travel to all 3 cities to see before I decide where i'm moving so please be constructive.

I wouldn't call louisville mostly white its more of a good mix of everyone from what i have seen.I would say most of louisville is good mix of black and white but the south end has a lot of other races from asians mexicans cubans africans. The west end use to be mostly black but a lot of them moved away from it around the city.Night life here just depends on how you like it from a small bar to a big night club to strip clubs.

Louisville seems to strike a nice balance racially imo - it's a diverse city with a diverse population.
It seems to have become more neighborhood desegregated in recent decades. You can check out the police website and get crime info on any zip code in the city that you are considering moving to.

this isn't a race related rant, but when your first inquiries about a city are all about racial demographics? come on. you must be the racist. ask about crime, traffic, affordabilty or jobs, and you'll get some valuable info in the form of replies here. louisville is almost 40% black so if you have a problem with that, and it sounds like you might, i would look elsewhere. if you're scared of black folk this isn't the place for you. move along. kentucky already has more than enough closed-minded necks. we don't really need to import them.
