Hi everybody,

Instead of reviving an old Polo Fields thread, I figured I should start a new one.

We are moving to the area soon, and my wife and I both like the Polo Fields community (at least online ).

In previous threads from 2008-2010, there were a few complaints that intrigued me, and I was wondering if anyone has updated intel:

First of all, there were concerns about the quality of the construction in this area. I know that experiences can vary, so I'd be interested in any "generalizations" as well as specific experience.

Also, I know there was some lower end consumer construction in the area-has this translated to a reduction in safety at all?

Lastly, is there anything else new going on in the area like housing developments, community improvementents (grocery stores, entertainment, etc) that is worth noting?

Thanks! By the way-my heart is not necessarily attached to the Polo Fields, it just seems to meet the most criteria we are looking for. I understand it may be cookie cutter suburbia, but I'm fine with that and it's what my wife and I want. I know the tradeoff with newer ex-burb housing is a longer commute and poorer construction. We understand that, so no need to criticize our choices However, if you have any suggestions for neighborhoods that fit the same criteria as the Polo Fields in the $200-250,000 price range, we'd be open to suggestions!

My opinion... For the right price, Polo Fields is a good place. When you understand that most of Polo was built by Chevrolet, but when completed, the builder put a Caddilac brand on the hood. If you remember that it's still a Chevy, you'll be ok.
