I will soon be moving to Louisville to attend Sullivan University and have yet to find a job or an apartment. I'm going to Louisville this week-end to check out apartments...again. I've been a couple of times before and haven't had a whole lot of luck. Since I still haven't been able to find a job yet I'm not really locked into any certain area. I'm single with no kids - so i'm open to any area that is relatively safe.

STX will fall over, but I would go for an efficency in the area of Cave Hill/Broadway/Bardstown Rd. Good bus service, convenient etc

I went to Sullivan... what are you taking? I do believe that Sullivan has their own apartments that have a bus going to and from there if you want to look into that.

My family and I checked out Kentucky Towers today - since I was downtown for a job interview. It seemed pretty reasonable. It's not close to the school though. Oh well. Thanks again for all of your suggestions!
