Hi everybody,

Any advice would be appreciated. I'll be arriving in town with my family in early August. We'd prefer a rental as close as possible to the intersection of Grinstead and Bardstown. Here's the catch: I need to keep rent down to around 1000 per month or less and I need at least two bedrooms.

My plan is to arrive and start combing craigslist and zillow for leads while driving around looking for rental signs and checking out neighborhoods. I'm hoping we can find something before August is over.

People with experience: Does this sound like a good plan? Any additional pointers on my search?

Thanks!

Sounds easily doable, but I would hurry because availability will become a little more limited when school is back in session. Kids will be starting to move in in just a few weeks. That also means checking out your neighborhood closely when you have it narrowed down. Problem renters, which are everywhere, can really affect your quality of life. Don't ask me how I know There are many apartments on Grinstead itself, so you shouldnt have any problem. A lot of traffic during the usual hi-traffic times, though

Good luck !
