Hi Y'all,

I am looking to move to Louisville in the Spring from New York City. I am currently a Senior Associate at a theatre company and am looking to stay in the theatre field in Louisvillle. I would obviously prefer having a job lined up before I move. To all you locals, is there a good way to network with the Louisville theatre community from afar? Theatre jobs are rarely posted, and if they are, they are minimal. I just need to try and make some contacts before making the big move! If anyone can offer some insight or has friends in the theatre community that I can reach out to, that would be great! Thanks

I will definitely check there when I start applying for jobs, but I was hoping to do some networking from afar. Any suggestions or friends in the theatre scene, guys?

my friend is involved in several local productions a year both as an actor and a producer. I will say this. I would be prepared to wait tables or do whatever you have to do to get by. full time ,livable wage theatre jobs in louisville are very hard to come by, as i'm sure they are in nyc as well.

Thankfully, I'm not an Actress, I work on the business side, so hopefully I won't be waiting tables I don't plan on moving until I can secure a full time job!
