I beg to differ. Going to the ACC means a more respectable conference in the eyes of pollsters.

BTW, major congrats to Charlie Strong. I hope this is the beginning of a great future for Louisville football.

Until its disintegration the Big East has been a better basketball conference than the ACC and probably a better football conference as well. The ACC is over rated especially in football. Check out how many national championships and bowl wins they have over the last 25 years and you'll find they are at best equal to the Big East.
