We go out with my in-laws every year and are looking for something new this year. Usually we go to the Outlook Inn in Indiana, but we were disappointed with the food last time we went. The overlook at Otter Creek is now closed, which is too bad. Average food, but plenty of it and a great view.

Last year we went to the Churchill Downs buffet and bet all day, which was a complete blast. But this year we're broke, so we're looking for something in the mid-price range.

Claudia Saunders, maybe? Any suggestions?

This is really a topic for the forum at LouisvilleHotBytes.com . there are MUCH better places than that for turkey day. I would try Volare. But again, the folks on that forum will know more...its free and easy to sign up.

Claudia Sanders is wonderful in my opinion. Some places require reservations so you may call ahead. OH! How about Huber's??

What kind of food are you thinking of? Traditional homestyle turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes? Or more of a contemporary, less holiday-ish meal?

Yeah, with a buffet because I pig out on Thanksgiving! We prefer more casual.

Ooooh, I can't let this one go by. Gotta mess with ya. Are people going to have to put you in a wheelbarrow to roll you out the door after the feast?

And why should Thanksgiving be any different from the rest of my week?
