Would anyone like to discuss their experiences applying for and interviewing at Humana?

I applied for a research consultant position. My current company took about 3 months before I received a phone call. Just wondering if I should expect the same at Humana.

Thanks in advance!

They are noted for taking a long time with anything involving employment.

It's not uncommon for it to take a month or more to hear back about a position, even if you're an internal candidate. Make sure you apply using the online application system, as that required for all candidates.

Default Thanks!

I just looked and the job is still taking applications as well. I would love to get to know someone there for an employee referral or just to network with. I've done some research and it looks like a great company to work for. Its currently my first choice. I'd like to be moved and working there by the fall. Trying to stay positive.

I've been applying to jobs in Louisville for 6 months now. I'm starting to lose interest in the area and thinking about talking DH into moving elsewhere. I don't think the area matches my job skills. I have a PhD and quantitative research skills. I've been working in research my whole career.
