Every time I see an artist depiction of the city in whatever form, or media, and certain things are off, such as showing the PNC bank building as tall as or taller than the Aegon center, I just want to scream, "it's not effing taller/same hieght as the aegon," beacuase it isn't, the Aegon Center is the tallest building, and its at least four stories taller without the dome. Maybe it seems insignificant, maybe it is, but I've seen it six times and counting, and it's wrong, no matter how abstract the depiction- it's still wrong. Maybe I love this city too much, but everyone knows the Aegon Center is the tallest, and it is noticeably so. Last time I saw it was the Btown&Longest Hiene Bros, with that mural behind the counter, and it makes me happy when an artist gets it right, like the mural in Wicks on Baxter.

Maybe it is the perspective? Closer objects appear larger than distant objects and all that.

The Aegon building has 35 stories whereas the second tallest building has 40. So really it has fewer floors, but the dome make it maybe 40 feet taller structurally. That said, the Aegon building is probably depicted as smaller because that's how it actually looks in real life. When viewed from the Indiana side which is probably one of the most common skyline views shown, the Aegon building sits farther away. Of course I'm talking compared to the National City Tower as opposed to the PNC building if that's the one you're actually talking about

Yeah, that one, it used to be the pnc building. You can go in the dome, I don't remember what is up there, though.

The formerly named AEGON tower is taller than the second tallest but some of the height is the summit and not office floors. It has fewer floors than the second place building. For some reason certain angles make it unclear which is taller
