I heard that they were going to open a new Verizon kiosk in one of the malls around here, does anybody know which one it's going to be in?

Well St. Matthews and Oxmoor both have Verizon stores in them, I guess they could be putting another one in either of those, or maybe at The Summit? it doesn't have a Verizon retailer.

There are several developments in Lexington's old warehouse district that look almost identical to the U of L project - basically a nice looking 4 story brick building with a large parking lots. Maybe they are either designed by some nationwide company? I think investors

There are several near UK and one in a completely industrial area off Angliana Ave near Versailles Rd - not sure if it's student housing or not

Hola amigos. I was in Da Ville today and got a couple construction photos

This is the expansion project of the Big Slice, aka Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, The east side light poles have been moved and a good bit of the upper deck's steel is now up

Here is the former Macaroni factory site just NE of the stadium. I don't know what they're putting here but the factory is totally gone

I was at the stadium for the Kenny Chesney concert a little over a week ago and they are definitely moving along quickly with the expansion, I can't wait to see how it will look when it is finished.

It will be a nice looking addition, but I'm still not sure why Jurich thinks U of L needs a bigger football stadium than the Colorado Buffaloes, Oregon State Ducks, or Washington State Cougars. $60 million is a lot to add just 15,000 seats. U of L will fill it against WVU, UK, and any top 20 team that visits, but most games will only go in the 45,000 range. I think there were much bigger needs than stadium expansion for $60 mil.

I think in the long run it will turn out to be a good decision, but I do agree, $60 mil seems like a lot for just 15,000 more seats, they must be really comfortable...

Has Anyone any news on Louisville River Park Place, I went to their website and they haven't updated it since 2007 and they say they have the Marina Open, which to my knowledge isn't true, I know the Towers haven't gone up yet but did this project get canned or is it just on hold. Also if anyone's got any news on the twin towers concept, The iron quarter, Capital Plaza or City Center please let it be known, Looks like this sticky hasn't been used in a while. Just trying to get my hopes up on louisville actually getting bigger. PS> Heard that city center is pushing for gaming to be allowed. I would love to see a casino in downtown.

I think a casino downtown is the last think we need. Yeah it would bring in money but I don't think its worth it.
