I am flying into Louisville today and I was planning on driving to Lexington after I arrived and staying there. However, my flight is delayed 4 hours and now I don't land until 8:45 and I didn't want to drive that late. I don't know anything about Louisville, where is an ok area for a lady travelling alone to stay? Some of the downtown hotels are a little pricey so I was trying to find somewhere else. Thanks!

Hurstbourne Ln and Blankenbaker Ln exits off I-64 have quite a few hotels, most priced under $100 and free parking as opposed to downtown hotels that also charge parking. Also, this is in the direction you will go to Lexington and it is a very safe area for a woman by herself.

Yep. I'll second this. That area makes the most sense for you
