I have Humana CareSource Medicaid. I have a dr now but it is extremely hard to get in with her and she never responds to any of my messages. Does anyone know of dr's who actually accept Medicaid? I would really appreciate any advice!!!

Jennifer

Did they not send you a big book?

It seems like to me, anyplace that took Humana should take it.
Since I am not sure about your other particulars you can go here to find out..just type in your info.

I can imagine, that doesn't seem right at all to me. If they accept Humana insurance (which everyone does) it seems like they should have to accept all Humana plans, not just the elite ones that they prefer. That sounds like discrimination to me, and should be illegal. (I know they don't make as much money from Medicaid, but a Humana health care plan, should be
a Humana health care plan. If they accept one, they should have to accept them all.)

Default Medicaid

When you call to make an appointment with your physician, ask to speak to the insurance specialist and they will be able to tell you if you are within network or not.

I know..it's a crazy horrible system..Medicaid.

Good luck and God Bless..
