This city has virtually turned into a dump over the past year, crime is up big time. When is city data going to update, its way outdated.

Unfortunately, no one wants to hear what you are saying no matter how much truth your observations might have. We have discussed this many times on this forum and all you'll get is, "compared to..." this is a very safe place.

One crime is too many to tolerate. I agree with you, but from a practical point, there has been crime since the children of Adam & Eve. So somewhere between last year's score and, hopefully closer to, zero is a real number.

Yeah there is a default amount of crime in every city. If people would look at how much crime is UP in fern creek/okolona/j-town/all over town instead of worrying about the precious 70 year old shotgun houses downtown and the skyscrapers they might see that this town is heading down a pretty bad path.

Old ladies whining and whimpering about crime nobody else sees??

Hence Louisville ranked 5th in top 10 most under-rated cities list. Whereas over-rated cities Washington DC, Chicago and NYC with high crime there knocks Louisville off the charts.
