Hello All,
We are not looking to buy right away but want to start thinking about it and scouting neighborhoods that you all suggest. A little background on us... We are of Indian origin (Asian) in our early 30's and have moved to Louisville earlier this year. Currently we are renting on N Hurstbourne Ave and are in love with the city.

We have been moving a lot in the past 6 years and hopefully we can settle down. Our budget will be between 200-250K. Two important requirements for us are as follows..

1) Good school district.
2) Neighborhoods that have other Indian families.

Thanks!
HI

Along 265 on the East of 64. Lot of Indian family there. However, you may need about 300K.

Norton Commons! Very expensive though. Their new addition in Oldham County should be exquisite!

Peter - Northon Commons is surely not an option; have heard from colleagues that Oldham County schools are top rated. If this is true any other affordable neighborhoods in that area?

Thank you both for your replies!

HI.
The "City of Goshen" has some affordable homes, but they are not fancy by any means. Very solidly middle-class neighborhoods. They're not in the "fun" part of Oldham though, but you still have access to the great schools in the county.

Thanks! I will look at the Goshen option as well.
