And the views you get from the Knobs are something you can't get from Oldham. There's still rolling farmland in Georgetown, Galena and Greenville. I'd say Floyd Central could match any Oldham County high school for academics. The middle and elementary schools are good as well.

I couldn't say that Kentucky so much ahead of Indiana. Kentucky is backwards in a lot of ways. Kentucky is a gorgeous state, especially in Eastern Kentucky. But a lot of issues still to be dealt with. Economy-wise, I'd say Indiana as a whole is running stronger than Kentucky.

With the advent of River Ridge and the East End bridge (which should have been built 25 years ago), Clark County will be attracting a lot of business and residents. Hopefully it won't get too overdeveloped.
I was a middle schooler when they began talks of the East End bridge. I'm nearly 42 now. I fully expect it to be overdeveloped, because where else within earshot of Prospect is there to build now?
