I use to visit my cousin in the summer. I have a memory of a Big Boy at Lexington Road and Grinstead. Is this right or am i confused.

Somewhat older than you but the one I remember from my teenage years was the Ranch House or similar on Dixie Highway. Any other old farts around.

Could you possibly be thinking of Li'l Abner's at that location that closed about 1968 and was the later site of Jim Porter's? It was a restaurant based on the cartoon series by Al Capp and featured a hillbilly themed motif. There is a chapter about this restaurant in the book "Lost Restaurants of Louisville" by Stephen Hacker and Michelle Turner.
