Thanks to everyone again for all the help and suggestions. I'm so glad I found this site~it's been a wealth of great information. Hope to visit in the coming weeks, and to hear if Kentucky will be our new home. From everything I've read and seen, It's a beautiful state, and the weather is bound to be better than Michigan! It seems Kentucky's economy is doing a little better also. Hopefully, it won't be hard for our two oldest sons (College students) to find part time employment. (???) Thanks again.

We looked in Rock Springs and because of our dogs we decided against it. We were told the ranch style homes were $400 and the walk outs were $20000 higher. We are still looking.
However, we did have something occur this morning that is very upsetting. Our car had paint thrown on it. We think it is because of our dogs. We are very watchful of our dogs and stand outside while they are out, making sure they do not bark and upset our neighbors. I have read on this website that people in Kentucky are nice people, not extreme. But this has happened and we keep to ourselves. I am moving my daughter back to Virginia and we are trying to decide what to do with our animals. We as a family would be heart-broken if anything were to happen to our dogs. Kentucky is not filled with these wonderful people that some of you talk about so fondly.

what area are you rent in CB? This really sounds like bored teenagers at first glance.
