My husband and I are in our early 30's and moving to Louisville from Connecticut. My husband works from home but travels quite frequently. We would like help in finding a suburb that is within 40 minutes of Louisville airport and has excellent public schools. We can spend up to $900,000 and would like a nice house with a private back yard but also be close to things like shopping.

Any help is appreciated!!

THANK YOU

There are some really nice areas just east of the KY Fair & Expo Center. The city of Audubon Park is very nice and is one of Jefferson County's most affluent neighborhoods. It is pricey, but there are some nice upper middle class neighborhoods bordering it, Audubon, Prestonia, Bradley, and Popular Level to be specific. This area is very clean, safe, and suburban given it's location in the heart of the city.

The Highlands area is also very nice and has tons of shops and restaurants. It is located along Bardstown Rd btw Downtown & I-264.

40 minutes or less to the Louisville Airport, 75 minutes to Cincinnati Airport, great (not just good) schools, clean, safe.... only Oldham County does all that.

PS: Great shopping is 25 min or less to all major (including downtown) shopping in Louisville area. $ 900k will buy you all you might wish for and more
