STX12499 and I invite anyone interested to participate in a tour guided by us. STX will lead the "Town" view of his Louisville world, while I will guide the Country tour of Oldham County.

We will arrange for as many as want to participate on a cost sharing basis.

Please PM either of us to express your interest. Our schedules allow for a last week of April time frame.

Thanks for posting this, Tom. Specifically, my schedule allows for April 19th to 26th at virtually anytime. Tom and I are going to do the tour anyways, so the more the merrier. I would appreciate a good photographer to come along too as I narrate the history of the urban areas I have researched, and Tom can do the same for th country. I like it, the Town and Country tour, not sponsered by the maker of a crappy (sorry Michigan transplants) American auto

I am actually going to be in Louisville for a final job interview the weekend of the 19th. I'd love to join you, but could only do it the 19th.

This is a great idea. The 19th is my son's birthday, so we can't come in town then. But I am also very interested in the pictures of what you show on the tour. If it goes well, do you think you may be open to doing it again in the future?

I won't speak for STX about redo's, but yes, I will be happy to offer such a "dutch treat" tour to forum members. By dutch treat, I mean "throw in a bit of gas, and I'll do the time."
