I like my homemade barb-e-q the best.

My favorite pizza in Louisville is Annie's Pizza & Subs in Downtown Portland

The only one I've eaten at is on Portland Ave at 26th Street. The pizza I got there reminded me of eating in Philadelphia.

How are Annie's pasta & sandwiches?

There are two excellent BBQ's I can recommend which compare favorably with Daviess/Union Co. Marks Feed Store comes closest to Owensboro BBQ while Pig & a Peppermint (in Prospect) is genuine Union County food. The old Thompsons BBQ on Crittenden Dr was excellent too.

I have tried Bootleg and Juicy's. Neither measure up for me. Juicy's gets lots of raves, but it's Texas BBQ and I am a KY boy raised on Daviess County Catholic Mutton. When you beat that genre, I will listen.

Tom does Mark's have mutton? I have never tried that, thought about it at Bootleg but went with the babyback ribs.
