I've found that inexpensive housing is abundant in the zip code 40218. Is this a safe area or not?

40218 is both safe and unsafe. Just got to know where you are in the area.

Exclamation Don't go there!

I used to live in that area. It's not safe. The cops need a substation in that area.

Out of all of the registered sex offenders most of them live in 40218. Also in one apartment there are at least a dozen sex offenders living in that apartment complex in the 40218 part of Louisville. 40217 is a little bit different. Lot less sex offenders.
