What are they thinking? I remember when I went there the School required everyone to have health insurance. That made some sense since they a plan through the campus infirmary that was reasonable. This however, is just overboard- $1,000 a semster?

i go to school in connecticut, which i know is really different but my college has this rule. however, for people who live off campus, there is a cheaper "commuter meal plan" that you can buy.

It looks like it is only $250 per semester, but still it is a back handed attempt at raising tuition on people who absolutly do not need a meal plan.
