The neighborhood I'm in on Iroquois park is fits that bill. We looked at Audobon, too, but I wanted to be near the park. You might try looking in that area as well.

Older parts of Lyndon (Old Mill Road, Roosevelt Ave, etc) are as affordable as Iroqouis, yet have much better schools and lower property taxes

Bullitt County has the state's 12th worst school system, it is even worse than many counties in Eastern KY.

OK, Bullitt County actually is only the 17th WORST school district out of 120 counties. Go shoot some fire works off

This is according to CATS test scores

Did the original poster ask about schools or neighborhoods? Why do you have a problem with Bullitt or Spencer counties? Best move I ever made was getting out of Jefferson county and moving to Spencer 15 years ago. You should visit the country sometime. Who knows, you just might like it. On second thought, never mind.

Well, considering Spencer is one of the top 30 fastest growing counties in the NATION, I believe it must not be TOO bad a place
