I am a paranormal enthusiast. I visit Waverly every year, and am absolutely fascinated by it. The haunted house(s) they have there on Halloween are awesome too. I will be sad to see them end that. Me and a couple of friends where also looking into paying for a all night ghost hunt up there this fall. Hopefully we still can.

At least they are planning on keeping the fourth floor (most haunted floor of the building) for paranormal stuff only, and not the Hotel.

I guess the Hotel would be nice though, and it would help improve that area of the city, in my opinion. That is always a positive.

But I will still be a little sad to see it change. Its so awesome and historical the way it is now.

I am friends with Charlie (the owner), he is a cool guy, and really respects the history of the building, he will try to reserve it as much as possible.

This is great news for PRP and the SW suburbs! There needs to be more draws to get people and especially tourists out to that part of the metro. I hope he comes thru with the money....

Shouldn't be TOO hard because of the historical value of the building.

They have already completed a pretty big renovation there recently. New brick, windows, roof, etc. It looks good.

This will definitely help the SW suburbs. They need more "upscale" in that area.

Waverly is becoming a legend..and not just locally.

Yea a lot of people will be turned off by it, because of its history.

I use to not, but I saw a full body apparition with my own eyes a couple of years ago and have been a strong believer ever since. Actually, I am fascinated by it.

Actually, given its reputation, I think it would be a popular place to stay. Not that I would bring my wife and kids there for a night, but I could see a "guy" trip there.
