Any chance with the lowest fuel prices that fuel surcharges for a variety of companies will be removed or reduced? I realize that most large trucks that are in the service related industry (garbage trucks, utility trucks, etc) run on diesel and those prices are still significantly higher than regular unleaded.

Has anybody called their utility/garbage/other company to see when they are removing their 2008 added surcharge?

doubtful...gas prices are the same as taxes...they might go down in the short term, but long term, they're only going to go up.
