Looking for advice for a career change. I also posted on the Lexington forum. I am really serious about wanting to combine my strengths (analytical, detail oriented, good PC skills) with my passion for horses. So I am looking to work for a racetrack, or for a breed organization or in equine insurance or transport. The program at the University of Louisville looks like it would be perfect for my needs, but I don't know if it is feasible for me, finding the $$ might be extremely difficult as I am a single woman with a 401k that has gone down the tubes. I am currently studying accounting and econ as those are prerequisites for the program if I do the 1 yr certificate. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated! I used to be in the mortgage industry (for 1 of the good guys), but that's out now. Since I need to do something new, I would love to combine it with horses. Thanks in advance!
