Yes, cities have more crime that outlying areas, but it is not rampanat as you believe. Also, the West End is NOT downtown . Please, tell me of a crime you have personally witnessed in my neighborhood??? I am quite offended by your accusations. What you HAVE witnessed is people of other races than you in downtown Louisville. They dress diffferent and act different. They may even ask you for money. The majority of the time they don't want to hurt you! You are talking very bad about where I choose to live, and also the city at the heart of the region you live in.

I hate to say it, but the attitude of yourself and many others I see is what gives KY the stereotype that (maybe) it deserves.
Sorry I offended you. I wasn't aware you couldn't take it as well as you dish it. No, I haven't PERSONALLY witnessed a crime in progress. All you have to do is watch the news any weekend for that bit of info. I like that part about "the majority of the time they don't want to hurt you. That's reassuring. Oh and thanks for the advice on how to raise my children.

I have no use for "international culture". That's part of the reason I live where I live.
This is one of the most ignorant things I've ever read on these forums.

Why is that ignorant? Have you ever lived in a rural area where it's peaceful and quiet? Where you can hear the birds sing all day and the crickets and bullfrogs at night. Not cars and trucks and sirens and all the noise of the city. If having all of that means a lack of international culture then so be it. I'm just glad that more people haven't discovered this way of life.

I am glad someone agrees....I know you used to live in KY...I wonder if comments like that are why it gets the bad stereotype it has.

Karma Cafe is amazing, but it's kind of overshadowed by Cafe 360. I actually just had my first hookah experience at 360 last night.
