Due to an economic glitch many months back and a life threatening health scare, caused us to become behind on our mortgage payments. We've gone back and forth with our mortgage company and "thought" they were going to work with us. However, the Sherrif's sale went thru, unbeknown to us! We became aware last week, when the gentleman that BOUGHT our home knocked on the door, telling us we had to get out ASAP!
We may have gotten behind on our payments, but we aren't bad people at all! Seriously!!! I don't have a clue as where to turn, and am scared to death. I've been disabled for 10+yrs., and not getting ANY better. My husband is a fulltime worker and our 2 adult children are currently working. Our family also consist of our furry babies, 3 small dogs (all under 20lbs.) and 2 cats. We're in need of a house, due to our dogs and 30 yrs. of memories to store.
I'm posting in the Louisville forum, however, we currently live in So. Indiana. We'd prefer to stay in Indiana, closer to work for all, Dr. too...which is a monthly thing for me. I've posted also in the IN. forum...just trying to reach as many ppl as I can!
If there is ANYONE willing to extend a helping hand, opinion...please reply. Our desire is to have a 3bdrm, 1+ bath, yard(preferrably fenced), in a quiet area, almost country atmosphere. But, as long as we can stay together and off the streets, anything will work.
We don't have good credit, with medical bills from the past and now this foreclosure...but we WILL be the best, honest tenants you've ever had and LIFETIME ones at that.......possibly able to do a rent-to-own also. Our budget allows us up to $600mo.
Thank-you for reading....looking forward to replies!!!
