Kentucky Fried Chicken says it will move beyond filling up patrons' stomachs, by providing pothole repair for residents of Louisville, Ky.

The fast-food chain has offered to fill up potholes throughout Louisville in return for the right to stamp the newly repaired road hazards with the stencil slogan, Re-freshed by KFC, Advertising Age reported Wednesday.

The article said Mayor Jerr. is on board but somehow KFC will come out of this with some negative press - no good dead goes unpunished. I hope it goes well but that's all we'll see on Eastern Parkway (KFC stickers).

Yes, this is certainly the kind of national press that will make Louisville look...terrible. KFC and Yum Brands related press feeds into the worst stereotypes about Kentucky.
