Urban Design Studio : Louisville - Home

I just found out about this this morning. I wish I could have been able to attend some of the other eight sessions in this series.

Space is limited and going fast for the Transportation forum taking place on Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 6pm at Glassworks. RSVP today; I already have! Go to Urban Design Studio : Louisville (http://uds.louisville.edu/index.php?option=com_attend_events&Itemid=30&task= view&id=9 - broken link) for more information and to RSVP. As somebody who self-studies and wants to enter urban planning for a career, I'm already looking forward to being at this event.

I hear ya EE... this series is always timely and should be digitally captured so that people can get the information whenever they actually have the time. Maybe we will see you there... CMU

For those unaware... the Urban Design Studio is actually a grad school jointly run by UK & U of L, combining UK's specialty in architecture and U of L's specialty in data analysis to produce urban planners desperately needed for the state. It is located on 3rd Street in Downtown Lou.

Elephant Ears, have you seen Cynthia Cooke at any of their meetings yet? She is always having demonstrations on things like rain barrels and retro fitting old buildings, she was also my mapping class professor at U of L. She's also the youngest looking 50 yr old I ever seen - she could pass for 30
