So is Crestwood kind of like how Louisville is in Jefferson County? It just takes in unincorporated parts of the county no other towns claim?

No, not at all. The Crestwood Post Office covers the previously discussed area. That post was written to help home searchers. Crestwood city limits are actually fairly compact.

Default schools/activities

[I live in North Oldham school district. In fact I live just behind the school campus. I have a 19 yr old just graduated last yr. Walked to school. Took AP classes. I know they have a lacrosse team. Not sure if it's for girls- I believe I see them out my window in practice. North oldham rates equal to private schools. In fact, I know a couple whom took their son out of Trinity and placed him in North Oldham. Very high placement test ratings. My neighbor has their Home the market. Its within walking distance of the school in Barbizon Place subdivision for $ 289,000 has 4 maybe 5 bedrooms.

quote=pmarold21;9014774]We are looking at relocating to Oldham County because of a new job and its highly rated school system. Our son will be be attending either UL or UK as a sophmore in Finance so he won't be a problem. My concern is how to select the right high school for my daughters. We are moving from a nationally ranked school system in Connecticut and both of my daughters are taking advance placement classes so I would want to make sure the new high school has a challenging curriculum. In addition, one daughter is an elite lacrosse player and the other has been part of the crew club. My research seems to point to North Oldham County High School but I'm really not clear on either curriculum, facilities, or girls lacrosse. Any recommendations? The girls' will be sophmore's next year. Thanks.[/quote]

Default Thanks faithtingle

Thanks very much. We're getting close to finalizing the deal and hope to be looking at homes in the area by mid-July. Hopefully the inventory in the k$400 range will be decent.
