Anybody know the best places for seafood, cajun, authentic pizza (be real, I'm full blood sicilian) and chinese buffet? Best places for the kiddos? Or any others?
Don't need steakhouses--- we have a freezer full of fresh killed beef, nuttin' better than that. Thanks!

A family friendly pizza place with fantastic, mouth-watering, scrumptious pizza? Cliftons is the place. Wicks will get a lot of mentions too and deservedly so but on any given night at Cliftons not only will a little league team be running through the aisles but they'll have a live band playing on their little stage. Did I mention the pizza's great?

BoomBozz is terrific too. It may not sound good, but their chicken and potato pizza is so good it will make you want to smack somebody..... I've talked several people into trying it. After screwing up their faces at the mention of it they've all become fans of the dish and of the restaurant. They don't have much space for seating but they are pretty family friendly too. Impellizari's is good too but I think just a notch behind the others mentioned unless you are in the mood for them. BoomBozz's has thin crust pizza. The others specialize in thicker cheesier pies. These places are just as good as any I've had in Chicago or NYC.

I'm not much of cajun expert but I enjoy Joe's O.K. Bayou and J. Gumbo's.

Can't help with the Chinese.

Seafood. I do sushi and the interesting thing is we have terrific sushi in town. I think it helps that we have a UPS hub here. Saki Blue on Shelbyville Rd. next to the US Post Office is my favorite. It doesn't have a swanky atmosphere like some others but the white tuna and yellow tail will melt in your mouth. This restaurant happens to have spawned several other sushi places in town. The owner was very good at recruiting and training sushi chefs with the ambition to open there own shops.

In E'town try the BBQ at Texas Outlaws--their pork (pulled and/or ribs) is fantastic!

No seafood in E'town except Red Lobster (sorry).

Authentic pizza? Try Delanos (not a chain, but great pizza).

Mexican--El Rodeo (my favorite).

Chinese? (I don't eat Chinese)!

Seriously, enjoy your visit--hope you have a great time!
