ATT has presented Uverse to a few zip codes in the Louisville Market. You can be added to a website alert list that will tell you when Uverse is available in the 40059 zip. I am on the list but can't remember the URL. You might Google ATT Uverse.

Default ATT Uverse

I know of a couple people in the area that have tried it and had problems, to the point that they had to cancel. I talked with an ATT technician about it, and he said they are still working out the kinks. My sister had it in CA and it was a nightmare. Hopefully they'll work out some of these "kinks" before reaching your neighborhood...

We had it in the Kansas City area and we did have some initial issues. But for the most part we really liked it. Better than any other cable/internet provider we've ever had. Certainly better than what we have at this time.

Thanks for the posts.
