Hey we are moving from South Carolina to Louisville at the end of the month and looking for a house to rent for $1700 or less. Would like good school district (oldham co) open to other areas. Really interested in a family friendly neighborhood etc. Any advice would be great!!

Thanks

It doesn't get much more family friendly than Oldham Co. As a Realtor I'm not plugged into the rental market that well but I have to monitor it for my appraisal business. It just so happens there is a terrific web site (it started in Louisville) where landlords can list their houses. I haven't found a better source for finding houses to rent. Here is the link- RentalHouses.com - Houses for Rent, Homes for Rent, Apartments, Condos, Townhomes for Rent, Rental Homes & Property Rentals. Use the "advance search" feature and you can search by zip code. If you google "free zip code map" you can better target your locations of interest. For instance, I just searched the 40014 zip code (Crestwood) and there are 71 houses (with a few condos, etc.) listed for rent. Good luck.
