I never ride TARC, so I have no idea how long it would take. You could google TARC to get route maps and more info.

I used to rent an apartment in the Original Highlands. Rent there runs from about $425 to $380 for a one bedroom or studio. There is a bus line that runs along Barrett Ave and then down East Broadway towards Shelby St. Seems like I remember a bus stop at Barrett & St Anthony Plaza by the hospital

Dang! The rent is really good in Louisville. Just wondering, are the prices any cheaper in the "hood/urban" areas? I know they're "bad", but I probably wouldn't be outside to much during my stay.
