Yes it is and for those of us who work there... especially long term... it is devestating. I know what the keepers went through and how dedicated they were to get that baby and how much they loved him. They are who I feel for.

It was such a surprise too...you never expect something to happen to the babies. It was so sweet seeing him nurse and be with his mother. If you dont mind, what do you do at the zoo?
